The Workshop-School

At an elevation of 800 meters, the hamlet of Régagnas offers a striking setting: wild steppe, horses roaming semi-freely across hundreds of hectares, and a tranquility conducive to concentration and creativity.

The workshop-school is a space for work, research, and experimentation, where each student has their own fully equipped workstation (potter’s wheel, throwing rims, tools, precision scale, etc.) as well as unlimited access to raw materials.
The workshops remain open at all times outside of class hours, with no restrictions on materials.

The Library

With more than 1,500 professional publications, our Ceramics Library has been built up over the past 50 years.

Comprising many out-of-print books, it is open to students at all times (including weekends and evenings!).

It also contains a collection of ceramics journals in French, English, German, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, and other languages, dating from the 1980s to the present.

Searches are made easier by the computerization of the collection according to the Universal Classification System. Thank you to Françoise Bochud for this monumental effort.

Vacation Rentals

The hamlet of Régagnas is home to two dry-stone cottages, which serve as student housing during training sessions and are available for vacation rentals the rest of the year.

Marked hiking trails, peace and quiet, and a friendly atmosphere await you.

In the hamlet, you’ll encounter the Cavaliers du Reg, as well as students from the Manège l’École des Chevaux de Régagnas, led by Yasmine, Ariane’s sister. The horses roam freely across the vast, wild surrounding lands. Equestrian art performances, ethological tours of the herd, and customized horseback rides are available upon request.
