Part One

Wheel-throwing (CK1)

A precise and efficient throwing technique that prepares you for large-scale pieces, porcelain, production throwing, and artistic expression.

Our approach focuses on freedom of movement and physical relaxation, preserving body health over time and preventing pain or strain.

Through rigorous, focused exercises, students unlock and develop their full skill and sensitivity: the tactile and proprioceptive qualities of clay guide an intuitive, physical perception of the form.

Ceramic technology, history, and literature are fully integrated into the program, providing the strong cultural foundation essential to developing your own creative voice.

Advanced modules & specialization: large-scale throwing with assembly, porcelain throwing, batch throwing, custom design and execution of thrown pieces…

This training course is eligible for CPF funding (French professional training allowance).

Part TWo

Glazes and Electric Kiln Firing (CK2)

Achieving spectacular, unique glazes on stoneware and porcelain—using natural materials as well as budget-friendly ingredients—is not limited to gas firing. True wonders can also come out of an electric kiln.

This course provides a solid foundation toward full technical independence. It is the result of decades of personal research and hands-on practice, passed down from father to daughter.

Through extensive testing with numerous glaze samples, students learn to understand and formulate glazes made from ash and rocks—whether collected in nature or purchased commercially.

Students leave with hundreds of proven recipes, fully equipping them for immediate practical application with total mastery over every parameter.

The training also encourages the use of raw, accessible materials such as domestic ash and locally sourced rocks, laying the groundwork for future personal research.

Our direct, intuitive approach requires no prior chemistry background.

The curriculum also covers equipment and raw material selection: sourcing suppliers, finding the best prices, and prioritizing purchases tailored to each individual project and budget.

Advanced modules & specialization: glaze research with wild-harvested materials, gas firing, copper reds, tenmokus, oilspots, celadons, iron blues, iron reds, special-effects and luster glazes, wood firing, kiln building, food-safe glazes and safety regulations.
